Our vision is to equip fathers to eternally alter the trajectory of family legacies through the biblical discipleship of their sons into fearless, faithful godly men.
Our mission is to utilize the Alaskan Wilderness to establish an enduring Christ-centered bond between fathers and sons, serving as the cornerstone for a multi-year discipleship journey that will transform the trajectory of your family legacy.
Peter began his Alaska career at a young age, growing up in Homer, AK and exploring western Alaska with his uncle. When his parents moved south, he continued to find his way up north to spend summers flying, fishing and hunting with his uncle and cousin. After graduating high school, he pursued a career as a hunting, fishing, rafting, guide, full-time and opened up a lodge in Port Alsworth, Alaska. This is where Peter and Connor’s paths crossed. Connor began working for Peter at The General Lodge the summer of 2016 and continued his guiding career after 4 years of guiding in Arkansas during college. Peter later went on to start an e-commerce company in the Nashville area called Groove Life and Connor ended up guiding and managing a premier fishing outfitter in South West Alaska. They have since reunited and joined forces to start The Quarry Project. Collectively, they have over 30 years of experience, guiding fishing, hunting and adventure trips in the backcountry of Alaska. They are passionate about men’s ministry and father-son relationships, and have dedicated much time, talents, and resources to create intentional experiences for men to grow in the backcountry.
Connor is an avid outdoorsman and a lover of Christ and people. After graduating highschool in Tulsa, OK, Connor attended Torchbearers International Bible School at Capernwray Harbour were he diligently studied God’s word and fell in love with his savior Jesus. This launched Connor into college at the University of Arkansas where he studied Supply Chain/Logistics and Finance, but put forth most of his effort into loving people and discipling young men on campus. During college, Connor worked part time as a fly-fishing guide and used outdoor spaces as ministry opportunities. Upon graduating college, he pursued a career as a fly fishing guide in Alaska where he worked with Peter in Lake Clark National Park. He went on to become a guide and eventually manage a fly-fishing lodge operation in Southwest Alaska. After 6 years of full-time work in the Lodge industry, Connor heeded the call to become the Director of the Quarry Project and now helps equip fathers to intentionally disciple their sons, while also training up college staff in their identity as sons of God and equip them for ministry wherever the Lord takes them.
